With this service, we are able to ensure a regular and orderly public traffic. You can book an appointment that suits you and you have a fixed date in the embassy without long waiting times.

General Information

All applicants NEED to schedule an appointment in order to hand in their applications. Applications for the category “passports and ID-Cards” can also be accepted without an appointment in urgent cases, for example when a passport was lost. Please note, that the waiting time can be long.

In urgent or emergency cases please contact the consular section directly through the contact form.

Please book a separate appointment for each applicant and each application. For example, if you want to apply with your family, you have to book separate appointment for each family member (3 children = 3 appointments).

Please bring all required documents as listed on our website to your appointment. Incomplete applications cannot be accepted: the application will be rejected free of charge and a new appointment has to be booked.

After booking the appointment you will receive an automatic confirmation of your appointment by e-mail. You will have to show this confirmation either as a print out or a digital version before entering the embassy.

Please cancel the appointment immediately if you do no longer need it to allow others to book an appointment. A cancellation on the same day of the appointment is not possible. Please be advised that it will be difficult to book further appointments if you do not show for an appointment without cancelling it.

You do not need an appointment to pick up your documents or visa. Please note the pick up times of the consular section.

*Attention: If you want to apply for a ICT-Card or an employment according to Section 19c (1) Residence Act, please select the category “Taking up employment with professional experience”. Instead of the document “Proof of qualified professional experience”, you can alternatively provide your CV or a letter from your employer.
