Since June 2024, visa applicants for the Blue Card (EU), qualified professionals who hold an academic degree and skilled workers with professional training can apply for their visa online. They can do so via the Consular Service Portal of the Federal Foreign Office.

After uploading your visa application your documents will be checked by the Embassy and you will then only have to come to the Embassy to have your fingerprints taken and pay the application fee.
